Feb. 7th 1964 .......THE BEATLES LAND AT JFK
Born in Sheepshead Bay~ Brooklyn, New York 2nd gen Italian/American Gary Private started out as a drummer playing the N.Y. club circuit (Max’s Kansas City, CBGB’s, The Coventry, Great Gildersleeves, The Peppermint Lounge, The Red Parrot, Studio 54, Le Twinkie Zone) etc; with many NYC bands (Legs Latreau, Dancer, Arrival) continuing on to front his own band. Signing a recording contract as singer/songwriter, G.Pvt. went on to record with Select Records.
Soon after a requested performance at Studio 54 (NYC) by and for Calvin Klein’s birthday party, he was signed by Atlantic Records which then released a remake of the Four Tops song "Reach Out, I'll Be There." The next record on Atlantic was "Secret Love" (now available on ITUNES, RHAPSODY etc...) which featured original songs written by Private. Following this, (4 albums and 7 singles) Private was featured on "Dick Clark's American Bandstand" twice, "Playboy's Girls of Rock-N-Roll", Disney's "Flight of the Navigator", daytime soap "One Life To Live", "Teen Beat magazine", and "Billboard Magazine's Top Album and Single picks".......
Private's worked with some of the greatest musicians in the world: My close friend & legend Frank Stallone, "The O'Jays T.M.Stevens" on bass, David Bowie's "Stan Harrison" on sax, Uptown Horn's Arno Hecht, Steely Dan's "Elliott Randall" on guitar, Meatloaf's "Bob Kulick", & Steve Ress on guitar, John Gitano, Gus Sasso on drums, Frank Diorio on drums, and the greatest all time Rock-N-Roll bass player Kenny "Double A" Aaronson.
Through the years he collaborated many times off and on with the greatest all-round musician .. the brilliant Elliott Glenn.

~10 years lead security for the House of Blues Foundation Room on Sunset Blvd,L.A.;
~Trained the opening team at the Mandaley Bay Hotel/Casino H.O.B. Foundation Room in Las Vegas(1999); ~Received Presidential seal/name embossed cufflinks from President Bill Clinton for assisting the Secret Service during his visit to H.O.B.;
~Co-event coordinator for the House of Blues Fdtn Rm temporary Sundance Film Festival location in Utah; ~Managing partner of Hollywood & Vine Diner/Ultra Lounge nightclub L.A.;
